Red, white, & blue custom seat covers.

"Tweaked" the Curtis controller and added a digital SOC meter. Thinking about some larger wheels/tires.

Appearance: the custom stereo console/headliner. I totally copied the idea but it was fun to build and it’s relatively unique. It took a lot of time, but was worth it to me in the end.

Performance: would have to be the reversing contactor. The new alltrax may actually be more important to overall performance, but over the years I had multiple problems with the old f/r and love the ease of the contactor.

Can you share a link to the plans of that headliner? That is awesome

That’s where I stole the idea from. That guy was turning out some really cool club cars. There’s not a lot in that thread on specifics, but some cool pictures to look at and get ideas.

The console is built and upholstered separately, then attached to the headliner. The whole unit is then attached to the roof. I used t nuts into the headliner attached with bolts and rubber washers through the roof. No problem to this point with leaks.

I deleted some of the pictures I had and don’t have any sort of diagram anymore. You just have to figure it out based on size of roof inset, stereo and speaker size. The rear speaker pods I did out of fiberglass. 4 speakers is completely unnecessary, but sounds really good. Pm me, if I can help you out more.

Really nice setup. A lot of sound too close to my old ears but 25 years ago I'd be all over it

Recently recovered the stock vinyl seats with some alligator print we picked up at Walmart. Really like it over the cracked and faded tan. Replaced all the wood as most was rotten.

Appearance: Plain Jane except for nose art.

Performance:
Best - Upgrading to 42V with Alltrax DCX controller.
Worst - Exploding stock PDS motor due to DCX controller not having RPM limiting (and other factors).

New motor is now fed by an XCT controller that does have RPM limiting.

The best thing I've done to my RXV was to go lithium and put on some decent wheels with 20.38" tires.
