re: Carryall II
Pretty much, as far as though particular parts are concerned,if it looks the same, it is the same.
The only way to KNOW for certain though, is to compare part numbers in the respective parts catalogs. The CarryAlls were outfitted in the steering area with different steering spindle lever (?-terminology) so that they could turn a tighter circle, but the actual rack & pinion were pretty much identical. The drag link/right tie rod changed to a different style later? than yours but the parts are possibly interchangeable as assemblies (maybe). What is the problem with your steering gear? |

re: Carryall II
I did a part number comparison between a 93 DS, and a 94 CA II,
The exploded views were EXACTLY the same, (with the same part identifying numbers) But, the part numbers were different! |

Re: Carryall II
I could EASILY be wrong since I don't know much about Carryalls, (and never worked on one)
but.. it's always been to my understanding that the older DS's, and the smaller Carryalls (I & II's) share mostly the same format and parts. Just throwing that out there. |

Re: Carryall II
I had a 2008 Carryall 2 that had all the same parts as a DS. Pretty sure the front end stuff is the same.

Re: Carryall II
I just swapped a 6" lift from a ds and put it on a 2000 turf 2, Other than the front brake's on the turf 2 everything went smooth and worked out perfect. I deleted the front brakes on the turf 2
