Default 36v ezgo problem

So I was given a 2007 ezgo cart that says txt 48 on the side. I would assume it means the cart is a 48v, but the motor in it is a 36volt and I have 6, 6 volt batteries. I’ve charged them up and the the cart seems to not move unless I rock the cart. I can feel the cart trying to grip and go but doesn’t have enough power to move. If I jack up the rear end the tires slowly move. I took one hub off and doesn’t seem to be stripped. I’m very new to carts so any help would be appreciated

Check the controller. And keep in mind, bodies are easily changed.

What's the pack voltage 12 hours after charging and rested? 1 or 2 bad batteries can give those symptoms

Mine did the exact same thing the day I bought it used. One 6V battery was bad. Replaced it with a new one and it ran fine.
I'd check each battery.

Put a voltmeter on the pack, note the voltage reading. Then watch the meter when you try to go - what does the pack drop to?

Use this chart I made to compare TXT48 drive systems to other Ezgo drive systems for the purpose of identification.
