Cart won’t go forward or backward
I have a 2009 RXV that will not go forward or reverse. When I put the cart in either forward or backward I can hear the solenoid click. I can feel the motor trying to go but it will not go. It feels like it is trying to go but nothing. I checked the batteries and they are fine. Is there anything else I need to check before bringing it in for repair? Thanks

Put it in N and in tow mode. Can you push it?

Did you try and pull back on gas pedal to make sure it was all the way up? When in reverse do you hear the beeper?

Yes pulled on peddle and it goes all the way up. Put the cart in reverse and the alarm goes off as well.

Check for loose battery connections. Take a look at the solenoid for any discoloring.

No it does not jerk but I can feel the motor trying to go.

It could be failing the twist test. The twist test is where the controller tries to rotate the motor against the motor brake. It’s a safety test. Any movement of the cart fails the test. It should click but that’s all - no movement. If that’s the issue, it could be the brake needs replacing. It’s not a big deal and it’s about a $200. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
