Default Motor coil stuck on transaxle

I purchased a plum quick motor for super cheap and decided to try and install it myself after watching many youtube videos. Fast forward an hour and the case of the motor came off however the coils are still stuck on transaxle. What is the easiest way to get the coils off... I am sure they are ruined but i do not mind I just want to get the coils off at this point.

I read up on here and it says to remove rear axle and drop on concrete. Going to try this tonight. However before I start, What is the easiest way to get the rear end off? is it just held in by the U bolts?? or am I overlooking something?

Any Help will be appreciated.

Thank You

U bolts, brake cables and it would probably make your life easier to pull the rear bolts out of the leaf springs. Penetrating oil will also help
