Precedent motor or rear end squeal
I have a 2006 Precedent 48 volt with a whine or squeal noise coming from the cart. It only happens in cold weather and otherwise the cart works great. I changed the rear end fluid a couple years ago. It has made the sound since I have owned it but agsin never in the summer but only when it gets cold outside. I am thinking motor brushes but it drives fine other than the noise. Any help wouls be much appreciated

You hit it. Just motor brushes and winding noise. I have had some that do it and some don't, but those that have were more noticeable in the cold. I have replaced motors and it be gone, I have had replaced motors and it start - Lol! I run 75w/90 synthetic in all my differentials.....
I have an Executioner now and it sounds like a Turbo spooling up and I love it!!  |
