Re: What have I done now......
Wait I'm confused.......the 2003 DS is more comfortable???? I'm 6'2 and the wife is 5'7" and the DS is like a church pew to us. The precedent has a lot more room and rides so much nicer on the gravel roads.
Wife went to the local golf cart place and found the complete rear fold down seat frame and step used and dusty but not rusty for $75 and they loaded it in the truck SCORE!! |

Re: What have I done now......
6'-1" 235#'s and in a Precedent I feel cramped and jolted on the roads. In my DS's I feel like I am in a truck and have lots of real-estate around me.... (Mine is a 4-seater (and she has no input - shes along for the ride- Lol! ))

I feel like the DS is more roomy too- but just opinion.

Re: What have I done now......
Me too Luke. Now I'm confused. I don't own a Precedent but have used many of them at golf courses. I feel much more cramped/constrained in one compared to a DS.
However, some if not most of the DS's with a rear seat have the front seatback at a closer and more upright angle. IDK about a Precedent with a rear seat. Looks like yours had one on it when you bought it. |

Re: What have I done now......
I also have both a DS and A Precedent, and have to agree the Precedent feels tighter, more cramped.
My DS has no back seat, and the Precedent has the MadJax composite flip seat. I agree that the rear seats seem to straighten up the front seat backs, and make them feel more cramped. Aflyer |
