XRT1550 Rear Diff how much oil
I had the shop replace ther carrier in for XRT1550, they used the New Holland Rustler parts CLCAM1301301 alot cheaper than Club Car AM1301301.
My question is how much oil should be added to the rear diff. I have read 20 Ounces a post here said 40 ounces my shop added a qtr. No oil was supplied with the carrier I know Clubcar has 2 bottles in there Kit. Thank in advance Garth |

That did not work. I'll upload the manual in a moment. |

Maybe this will work, it says 20 ounces in the transmission and 20 ounces in the rear end.

Re: XRT1550 Rear Diff how much oil
I was trying to find this somewhere in a technical document, Found an old thread
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-issues-3.html The reason you are probably doing this is CC called for 20 oz fluid in the rear. The revised carrier and instructions say 40 oz- you will need to add the extra 20 oz from the top (remove the bellows- the funny black rubber thingy located on the top center of the carrier- its around 3/8 O.D. so get a hose and funnel and measure your 40 oz (not 39 or 41) Your new carrier will come with the correct fluid- use that- as I believe it is not just hydraulic fluid- iirc it also has some friction modifier additives to make the rear lock properly and not slip. |
