Cart wont run without spraying.

Need some help. I took my cart out of winter hibernation and it was ok drove halfway around the block and it died. Now the only way it starts is if I spray some carb cleaner right into the carb. It dies right away, wont run on its own fuel. I took the carb off and cleaned everything. Its getting fuel, its getting air and its getting spark. I thought maybe the fuel pressure isn't enough and isn't spraying enough gas into the air stream so I removed both fuel filters and tested with none, still nothing. I thought maybe the gas was bad so I filled the carb up with new gas and tried that still wont start. What could it be, does it need more fuel pressure?

Are you sure it's getting fuel? Maybe your old gas had water in it. Could still be some in the lines/carb.

I think you've either got bad gas, water in the gas, or missed something when you cleaned the carb.

I had a four wheeler that absolutely refused to burn gas that was over three months old. That rotten ethanol crap.

You could take the fuel line off the carb and run it onto a container. Turn the engine over and it should pump fuel. About a shot glass full every 10 seconds or so. Depending on the size of your shot glass, of course. Be very careful with sources of ignition. Things could get interesting very quickly.

If the carb is filling up the fuel bowl on the carb, you may insure your main jet is clear of obstructions. As pointed out earlier as well, you need gas is in good condition to ignite properly since alcohol blended based gas can go bad in a few months time.
