club car gas fuel gauge
wiring a gas gauge and having troubles...
the sending unit check out from about 105 ohms to 270 ohms. hs only two leads coming from sending unit ( one to ground and one to gauge??) i have 4 terminals on gauge Marked (S) i hooked to sending unit (I) i hooked to 12 volts the third i hooked hooked to ground the 4th is the light and have not tried to hook it up.. the needle moves slighly below empty when i hook up or if i change wiring configuration it will read fulll... it doesnt seam to matter where the float swith is setting its either full or empty... but the sending unit ohms out...??? this is rebuild that has a new clone engine in it and am trying to finish up... any help would be appreciated Jamp |

Got it!!! it was a grounding issue... I reground everything and now it works as its supposed to... thanks
