Fe350 Precedent Carb settings
For the life of me I cannot seem to find anything on here about the carb setting for the fe350. I'm talking about the screws and how many turns out they should be.
Anyone know about this or have any info? Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk |

Re: Fe350 Precedent Carb settings
Throttle screw is turn out until it isn't touching the throttle arm. Turn in until it just barely touches, then another 1/4 turn in. If its a key start engine that stays idling, then you'll adjust this one to set idle speed. It should not need more than 1/2 turn in.
Fuel mixture screw should have a stop on it to prevent it from being turned in or out too far. If it has been removed, turn the screw all the way in until it just barely seats. Be careful not to tighten it or it will damage the needle and carb. From just barely seated, turn out 1-1/4 turn. Adjust from there NO MORE than 1/2 turn in either direction. This screw ONLY changes the idle fuel mixture, and mostly affects how easily the engine starts. If you have this too far out, you'll run too rich at idle and wash the rings. Too lean, it won't want to start. There are no other adjustments for this carb. |
