2007 gas club car precedent wont turn over
I have a 2007 club car precedent gas and for the past few days i cannot seem to get it to turn over. The last time i got it running i had to jump it through the battery. It wont start in forward or backwards, but it clicks when i press the pedal. Also the gas gauge drops down to e like the batteries dead but when i let off it goes right back. Ive tried replacing the battery and that didn't change anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: 2007 gas club car precedent wont turn over
Sounds like a loose connection or a bad cable. The cable ends need to be super clean, if there's any corrosion on them, or dark discoloration they need to be cleaned up.
The battery Negative cable runs down to the frame somewhere right below the battery, and precedents like to corrode on the frame below the battery. Check the negative cable end where it attaches to the frame make sure it's clean and has a good connection at the frame. |
