Default Switched Fuse block for accessories

Hello all, I am installing my LED lights and decided to put a fuse block in for future accessories that I may install. I whipped up a little diagram for anyone who may want to do the same. Wasn't sure if I wanted to switch the 48v side or the 12v side but decided to switch the 48v side so the voltage converter doesn't have power unless the switch is on. Putting everything except the voltage converter in a weather tight box. I will get a few pics of the install when I am done.

Did you wire to 48v switch then to key switch? Or just a switch to voltage converter to turn on?

Key switch only. Could use a regular toggle instead if you wanted I suppose, but the key switch is just as good for me.

Good Job
If you get a 5 wire 12v reducer instead of a 4 wire like you show there is an internal relay with a key switch wire for on/off activation so no need for an external relay like on these older models. Of course you still have to get in the habit of turning the key off.

Yep, and the good ones arent "expensive" at all after you replace a few "cheap amazon deals". But we both already know this.

Is that voltage reducer safe on that piece of plastic? I heard they get a bit hot
