Exclamation 01 cc gas key start villager 6

My cc runs good when manually operating throttle high and low rpm. Engages forward and reverse but when I press on pedal engine dies.
I've replaced the throttle micro switch and no change.
I've search through forum and a couple threads had same issue but never clearly followed up on how they fixed their problem.
Thanks for any information

Go to this thread and use the wiring diagram to trace your limit switch wiring to make sure it is correct. I suspect you have a misadjusted micro switch

Thanks I saw that diagram earlier and wasn't sure it would be the same as the 01. I'll definitely check next time. Thanks
If anyone else has a suggestion it would be appreciated. I'm only working on cart every couple weeks and want to try everything I can.

That diagram will not apply to a key start cart.
The second micro switch on the back of the shift lever is probably bad and causing your issue. The switch is there as a safety to prevent the engine running if the pedal is pressed with the shifter in Neutral. When the switch fails it kills the engine when the pedal is pushed regardless of which gear the shifter is in.
Simply connecting the wires together usually takes care of that.
