Default 2008 G29 Yamaha 48v charger operating question

Hello, new member here. This is my first electric golf cart. I just picked up a 2008 YDRE 48 volt(G29?). The Yamaha charger didn't come with instructions. When I plug it in the power light is solid, the orange charge light is solid and then the green light flashes. Then the green light goes solid green with the solid orange and red power light. Eventually it will go to a flashing red Power light only. Is this part of the normal process? I've heard it's the "Equalizatuon process" I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it went to only a solid green charged light. How do you know when it's finally charged? Charger is a JW2-H2107-3.

Thanks in advance.

To charge the batteries in your
golf car, follow the instructions contained
in your battery chargerʼs
ownerʼs manual. The following is a
summary of the charging steps.
1. Turn main switch key to “OFF”
position.
Always put the tow switch in the
TOW position before charging battery
or damage to the electrical
system may result.
2. Lift up the seat and move the tow
switch to the TOW positionå Power ON Light (Red)
3. With the charger properly connected
and grounded (see charger
ʼs ownerʼs manual), insert the
DC output into the golf car receptacle.

4. When the charger is plugged into
the AC power, the Power ON
Light illuminates continuously.
5. If Error 1 or Error 2 light is blinking,
there is a problem with the
batteries or the charger. Contact
your Yamaha Dealer.
6. During normal charging, the
Charging Light blinks or continually
illuminates.
7. The charger turns off automatically
when the batteries reach full
charge.

8. After the charger has turned off,
disconnect the DC output plug
from the golf car receptacle by
grasping the plug body and
pulling the plug straight out of
the receptacle.

This is from the owner's manual for my cart - same charger.
