Club Car Precedent Stretch Conversion Motor Question
I'm getting ready to convert my 4 seat CC precedent into a 6 seat stretch and had some questions around motor performance with my setup.
Current setup: * Navitas 440 Controller * HD Solenoid * Removed OBC * Lift kit with 22" wheels * 95ah Lithium batteries (58.8v) Planned Upgrade: * Install stretch kit to convert to 6 seater * Install HD rear leaf springs * Upgrade motor wires to 2awg and field wires to 10awg. * Upgrade to PQ Executioner motor I live in FL and drive on mostly flat paved roads. Currently get around 27mph with the stock motor. Was hoping to at least maintain that with the stretch and motor upgrade. Questions: 1 - Will the PQ executioner be able to sufficiently handle the added weight of the conversion plus full load of passengers without drawing too much amperage? Do people install stretch kits with stock motors? 2 - Is it worth it to sink $1k more and just get the 5kw AC conversion? Most I drive at a time is 10-12 miles so range isn't a big issue and I don't care to get more than around 30mph. Thanks if anyone can help. |
