Re: rearend oil change
I cant get my cart to move, when I put it in Forward and hit the gas, it just sits in one place. I turned off the engine, removed the seat, put it in forward gear, I then reached down and turn the rear clutch by hand, the golf cart should slowly creep forward right? It does'nt I am able to hold the golf cart in place, its like the inside of the gear box is slipping, this is not a clutch or belt issue (at least I dont think so) Could it be a low rear end fluid level problem? Will low fluild levels cause a rear end to slip? Or is the rear end just broken inside? And what type of rear end oil should I use? My golf cart is a 1997 electric converted to gas, BIG BLOCK 23HP Briggs with a 2004 workhorse gas powered rear end.

Re: rearend oil change
It's probaably a stripped hub, take your dust covers off and try to go..... If the nut turns and the wheel doesn't it means the hub is stripped
