Re: how do you take off and clean carburetor
You can download the manual for your cart in the tech section on this site. It's not hard at all. Just pull the breather and housing, remove the gas lines and remove the carb... Remove the bowl, take out all jets and clean with carb. cleaner and blow out with high pressured air. Reassemble and drive...

Re: how do you take off and clean carburetor
sounds like the problem I had last year. Cleaning the carb was easy. I don't remember about screw adjustments.

Like any thing new it is easier than you dread. Take pics of it for referance and label lines and stuff. I keep a small chalk board in the shop for notes(then when I spill the coffee it doesn't melt my scratch paper.
GOOD LUCK |

Re: how do you take off and clean carburetor
You are cutting off the air so that tells you, you have too much air or not enough fuel.
Check for leaks in the intake and the throttle plate, then go to the fuel system. You should see some of the junk and crud that I have pulled out of gas tanks and carbs. Use only plastic gas cans and put the leftover fuel in the car do not let it sit around for weeks till the cart needs more. |
