How to remove g1 axel
I am having a problem removing the axel from my g1. Can anyone give me some help. I don't see a clip or anything holding it. All help appreciated. The axel does not engage when the clutch is engaged
It just spins free and makes a little noise. x-ray man Last edited by x-ray man; 07-25-2011 at 11:25 AM.. Reason: better explanation |

Re: How to remove g1 axel
Sounds like a broken center section. The axle housing is held on by 6 bolts at the chunk. You should be able to slide the axle and tube off without any problem. The axle itself is held in with 4 bolts behind the brakes. It is pressed on to the bearing so may not just come off.
I have a center section if yours is toast! Shoot me an email or call me at stephenlkarp@yahoo.com or 865-765-4396 Stephen |

Thanks for the info. I haven't had a chance to investigate any further. Hope to look at it next week. I will get back to you.
