Rear Struts / Supports for top
I am pretty sure that my top has the wrong rear struts/supports on it because the top is way too loose. I was wondering if someone out there could post a pic of how their rear struts attach to the cart? From pictures I’ve seen on the internet, the struts bow inward and looks like they attach to the back of the front seats. Any pics would be very helpful.
Thanks |

Re: Rear Struts / Supports for top
Thanks for the pic. I know for sure the wrong struts are on it now. I do have a back seat and the struts come straight down from the top and connect to the frame of the rear seat under the rear seat with only one bolt. With only one bolt holding it, the struts can rotate a little which makes the top shake like crazy. If you can, please send me a pic of how the struts connect to your cart that would be very helpful.
BTW I really like your cart! Thanks for the help |

Re: Rear Struts / Supports for top
I'll have to add some pics for sure! It's on a 97 ezgo. This weekend I plan on pulling the body and get it preped for paint. I have very limited time for it but atleast I'll have all winter to get the body painted.
There is only enough room for 1 bolt where the struts attach to the back seat frame. I'm not too worried about it but I would like to have it so it doesn't shake so much. I'm taking it off anyways so I can pull the body, so I have plenty of time to figure this out as well. Thanks |

Re: Rear Struts / Supports for top
some rear seat kits need to have longer rear struts added to them. if onyl one botl take them off and have a welder buddy add 4 or 5 " to the length so you can drill a nother hole it will help .
