Default Santa's Buggy

Yeah, we all know the old guy is a bit goofy, but this is about his RIDE!

Santa's Buggy

Santa Claus is coming with a great big load of toys!
Bringing lots of goodies for all the carting girls and boys.
High lift kits and clutches, lights and gauges too.
Knobby tires and slotted mags, … fun things for all to do.

Santa Clause is coming on his Yamahaha sled!
The flip-flop seat is folded out to form a pick-up bed
Filled to the top with packages and shiny bits of chrome
To “pretty-up” the buggies that sit beside the home.

Santa Claus is coming though his “sled” has tires, not skis.
They’ll get him through the muck and snow just as easy as you please.
He’ll cruise on down the avenue, he’ll climb the highest hill!
He’ll splash through mud and slush and brush – with a motor he can’t kill.

Santa Claus is coming! He’s moving on just fine.
He rides with class and proper pride on his Yamaha G9.
He tried the wimpy Club Car. He tried an EZ-GO.
He just had too much self respect to sink his rep that low.

Santa Clause is coming. He needs to fly real fast.
He refused to ride a “sparky” – he knew he needed gas!
He thought about a G8 to ride across this land,
But knew he needed much more power than the G8s rubber band.

Santa chose a G9! Of course, we knew he would!
A buggy showing power and pride as only a G9 could!
So if you get a present that is something for your cart
Remember to thank Santa for not driving a lesser cart!

Snow's mostly gone (for now), but the temps are hittin' the high teens and VERY low 20s at night. Days gettin' up to the high 20s. It's just all this Christmas music over and over since before Thanksgiving, all the ads trying to get me to buy things, all the commercialism and spam-like Christmas greetings that are really just blatant begging for $ (I do support several charities and local programs as well as church-sponsored groups year 'round.) This cr@p just drives me BUGGY .... errrrrr, I mean crazy!

But ya gotta give me credit for not posting it on the G8 page!

Really, it doesn't take much time -- usually a matter of just a few minutes -- for something like this. My 'verse' certainly isn't anything I'd submit for publication other than "just for fun". In fact, if I read them with a critical eye I'd never even save most of them.
But it is fun (for me), and that's the whole idea.
Shopping? I'm really not into that. I do like to get out among the crowds though. And this Saturday will be my first attempt to play SANTA for a group ... at an Christmas party ... in my full Santa suit! I think it will be fun! I DO like to try to put people in a good mood.
