79 ezgo 5in" lift?
i want to make a 4 or 5 in lift for my cart, i have the late 79 with the two leaf set up. i was wondering if i will have to do anything with my steering linkage or not. and what monroe shocks i need. i seen part numbers for them on here some where buy i can not find them.

The Monroe shock numbers are : 31000 & 31125. As far as the lift goes any of the sponsors will have the 4" but look at atv engineering on ebay. They have the 5" gas lift, at least they did when I got mine. The only thing they didnt mention when installing was to take the long tierod off and install under the leaf springs after the front blocks are installed. Hope this helps.

oh ok i kinda figured by looking at it i would have to do that with the tie rod.

oh and thanks for the info. i might as well buy that 5in lift for 55$ plus 20 for shipping its still cheaper than a 4 anywhere else
