Cart starts running terrible after about 20 min of run time
I'm at a loss, I have a g1 2 stroke that runs excellent when engine is cold, then when the motor warms up it starts running terrible. Acts like its starving for fuel. I have check the fuel lines, made sure fuel pump is working and also cleaned carb. I have put new spark plug new fuel pump and new air filter. The one thing I did notice is the new plug seems fouled already so don't know if I'm. Running to rich or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Also forgot to add that when its climbing any incline it also bogs down and barely makes it up the hill.

Re: Cart starts running terrible after about 20 min of run time
Did you check the compression (rings, piston compression) and the crank seals (crankcase compression). Bad rings/cylinder can do that as the cylinder gets hot it expands and compression drops. But you can buy a bored cylinder and piston pretty cheap to fix one up. Also check the muffler for being plugged at the outlet pipe, or loosen it from the cylinder and see what happens. Not any of that check your belt (must be over 1" wide) and motor mounts. Bad belt or the motor too close to the trans can cause bogging. Your clutch could be broken too, it will not shift right then.

Re: Cart starts running terrible after about 20 min of run time
Thanks for the info. I have done compression check, cold and hot and seems fine, about 120 psi, but will go through all the other stuff and will definitely check all that. Thanks

Re: Cart starts running terrible after about 20 min of run time
Could be an issue with the carb bowl floats or float valve leaking and flooding the engine. Rejetting an engine that "was" running good is usually the wrong direction

Also check the fuel tank venting.
