1988 gas ezgo marathon lift kit help please
I am looking at buying this lift
http://www.everythingcarts.com/p-369...as-80-945.aspx But I want atleast a 6 inch lift. For the 1988 ezgo golf carts I can only find a 4 inch lift. Is there a way I can add atleast 2 to 4 extra inches onto this? |

I went through the same thing with my 86. I don't think there is another option besides the 4". If you want more you will have to fab your own.

Re: 1988 gas ezgo marathon lift kit help please
I have never used them so I hesitate to recommend them although I know several people here have used them successfully. You will however need to to do something as the standard wheels will foul on the rear suspension. When I lifted my cart I also needed new wheels and tires so I bought wheels with a two inch offset thus removing the need for spacers.

What kind of rims/tires did you get? And how big are they as in height? Because im looking at getting these ( http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=300856942476 ) and im just hoping that they will be atleast 23" or lower.

Re: 1988 gas ezgo marathon lift kit help please
Offset steel wheels are under $20 each, spacers can run from $5 each for stud-extenders(x16 of them and I don't trust them at all),up to $100 per pair for billet-aluminum bolt-on units.Get a set of 2"-5",or 3"-4" offsets and you are good to go with a 22"x11"-8" or 10" diam. rim.Hope this helps.

That's the same lift I used on my 79. 22's are the biggest without rubbing with a 5"
