Default 07 ez go series

If I put 20 inch tires on a stock ez go series cart how much faster should it go ?

Assuming the 18 and 20 inch dimensions are accurate the tire is about 10% larger. The speed should increase proportionately.

Mine went from 13mph to 14mph when it was all stock.

Torque will decrease proportionally, too, so a lot of it depends on how healthy your controller, batteries, etc. are, too.

My torque went down and my braking action went down as well. Didn't expect that.

My cart went 15 mph faster when I switched to 20 inch tires.


...and 42v system with Alltrax 400 and D&D motor and 4g cables

I lost a tremendous amount of torque when I put the 22's on mine, hence the 48v/500 amp upgrade. Mine is a VERY torquey machine now, that will run 23-24 mph on flat ground.

Loss of braking comes with heavier tires & increased speed. Faster you go, harder to slow down.....

Also heavier tire & combo is harder to stop than a lighter one. Consider using Aluminum wheels for easier starts and stops.

Thanks everyone ,I bought a 48 volt ez go from sportscoupe added 23 inch tires runs 41 mph stops amasingly fast awesome cart
