Re: G1 Carb at too steep and angle?
IIRC, the G1 has a rubber carb joint that the carb goes into and is held in with a clamp. You won't easily find a replacement that has an angle. If you have room, you could add an angled piece between the joint and the carb.

Kinda like this, but made to the specs of the carb mount area. Then mount your carb to that. |

Re: G1 Carb at too steep and angle?
Well, I've had ups and downs with this cart.
One day I go out and try to start it so that I can go for a ride. Crank and Crank and it never hit. A few days later I go out and while in the garage I think, wonder if it will even hit. So without any choke I push the pedal and the darn thing fired right up and about backed over a shop cart I had setting behind it. May have just flooded it the other day, but I don't know. I'm going to keep riding this one while I pull the swing arm and rear from my parts cart. I'll then pull the engine off it and make my mounts to set my 8hp Briggs on it. I'm also going to drop the swing arm/ motor mount when I install it in the cart. |

I plan on riding this cart for a while if I can keep it running. |

Re: G1 Carb at too steep and angle?
you'll still need to use gaskets, just use the "cereal box" trick

Re: G1 Carb at too steep and angle?
I knew I'd need gaskets still.
I usually go the bear box route myself. |
