g1 clutch
have a 84 G1 that when i try to take off i have to rev engine up very high to get cart to move and when it decides to engage it slams itself very hard.hard enough it spins back tires if in gravel and sometimes even on payment;;i'm sure going brake something if not fixed..is this something i can fix or do i just need to replace complete clutch..been on ebay looking at new clutches..can't afford those..would this be something i could buy used and if so there's no way really to know if get good one i'm guessing?

Mine was acting like that. Took it all apart, cleaned and lubed all moving parts and it works like new now. The original grease had turned to tar.
