My driven clutch comes apart yesterday...[pics inside]
...while driving on the road back from the store. Ugh. Made my day interesting... At least we were less than a mile from the house.
1986 EZGO I guess that I am in the market for a new driven clutch. My question is, how do I get the old one out of my cart? Do I drop the rear axle? Remove the shocks? I've searched BGW and have not found an easy answer on how to get it out of the cart. Plus I'm lazy. I just rebuilt the top end last week, have a new drive clutch, basically new everything and this is the last original part. Might as well put a new one on. And, has anyone ever had their driven clutch just come apart? We were cruising about 15 MPH, having a good old time in the sun and "POP" "Bang" "crunch".... --Chris |

Re: My driven clutch comes apart yesterday...[pics inside]
Update - Since I have pulled the engine on this about six times over the past year, figured I would pull it, disconnect the motor mounts, swing arm and rear suspension.
Ready to bolt on the new clutch when it comes in. |
