Re: jumping solenoid
i know people who are running their carts this way and have been for a few seasons but in my opinion i wouldn,t......for the price of the OBC and the short time it takes to install it i would put it in and be done with it but yes you can run it that way..............now if your out in the woods and it decides to go which it will than what do you do? your stuck with a cart in the woods...............also you need to consider your batteries how do you know when they are charged and are they fully charged or are you over charging them and burning them up.........to many if ands or buts in my view but i do this for other people who are paying me so i have to make sure things are right.......for you its your cart and if your willing to take the chance than hey have fun and don,t kill everything...........................lol.......... ...good luck hunting............................

Re: jumping solenoid
Welcome Jesse, the last post in this thread was oct '08. You should start a new thread in the section which fits your cart. Give as much info as you can about year make and problem history so the guys can try to help before you just go to shorting out the solenoid or ??? You should have an understanding of what a solenoid is and how it works before you try this field test. Also Solenoids are safer to test with a voltmeter ....Good luck
