93 Club car starting issues
Hi everyone, great forum. I have a 93 gas cart that has had starting issues since I bought it. However here lately it has gotten worse. There are times when I depress the pedal and I hear nothing and nothing happens. Could this be a solenoid? I can press-release-press until it starts the starter. (I have replaced the ignitor a few weeks ago when it went out).Second when the pedal is pressed it sounds like the starter winds up extremely fast but I dont take off until it slows down and the belt engages. There is alot of slack in the belt so I am going to tackle that thanks to the instructions found here. Thanks for any insight.

my problems sound similar to yours .i am the thread right below you .i just got a 93 as well .the only difference with mine is it never moves.i just took my solenoid off and am going to try that.thanks to other people here replying i ruled out the fuel pump and its getting a spark.you may have a fuel issue since its running for at least a little while.good luck .
