Re: Disney's Ft Wilderness campground
Sounds like fun. How do you guys secure your carts while you are there?
I'd be worried about that. But sounds like it would be a great time. I'm in Orlando so the wife and I could make a weekend out of it. |

Re: Disney's Ft Wilderness campground
I have a unique ignition switch but I've seen some people use cable locks. Most just leave them alone

Re: Disney's Ft Wilderness campground
I've been up there twice with my cart in the last year, and no security problems in the campground. There are security guards around in uniform, and there happens to be some plain clothed as well. Don't ask how I know, all I can tell you is that they seem to show up when anything bad starts to happen. One tip I can give you...stay close to the 20 mph speed limit. I was asked (nicely) to slow down while being paced by a company vehicle. Going 30 + mph is more noticeable than I thought.

Re: Disney's Ft Wilderness campground
I was parked at the Tavern and a father and son tried to take my charger from the back of my cart... during daylight hours. Also a couple had their coach broken into by teens in a coach a couple spots down from them. In other words bad things happen because of a few rotten apples... but for the most part it's a great place to go. We used to go almost once a month... now only a couple times a year!
A barrel key switch will prevent most problems... and or a light cable around the steering wheel if you prefer. My charger is cabled down in the back... hence the failed attempt of the father/son thieves... |

How hard are they on the looks like a golf cart bit?
Are there any running around that don't have the traditional body style? Here's what I'm trying to bring. |

Heading up there this weekend.
A little input would be nice. If not, stay tuned for the AAR. |
