club car stopping after short rides
I have a 04 club car ds 48 volt. It has high speed motor upgraded controller and new HD solenoid ( just replaced ) after driving for about 15-20 min it will come to a stop and reverse buzzer will buzz a few times. I let it sit and it's runs again. Can't figure out the problem. Also has new batteries.

What is your battery voltage? Check total and voltage of each battery. One could be going bad.

Re: club car stopping after short rides
What do your cables look like? Are they corroded? Did you upgrade the cables when you upgraded the controller and motor? A high speed motor will generate more heat and if the cables can't carry the load, well you know the rest.

Re: club car stopping after short rides
Looks like you need a good set of golf cart battery cables. Those look like Walmart jumper cables with ring terminals.
