Default 1993 2 Cycle Flooding Gas into air hose.

Hello, I have an issue with a 1993 Ez Go with the 2 cycle engine, flooding gas back into the air hose. I have cleaned old carb, and the issue continued purchased a new one and the issue is still the same. It will run just fine initially, but once I stop and let it sit, It will flood. I can remove the big hose connecting to the carb and it will have gas settling in it but once I remove it the cart will run.

Anyone experienced this? Is it possible I'm having issues with both old and new floats?

If carbs good broken reed valves will cause fuel to be pushed back though carb

I just recently purchased this cart. The previous owner had these same issues.

With the air hose connected to the carb it will bogg down and not even move, the engine will hum.. but not enough power to move.. New air filter and no blockage in the hoses..

If I remove the hose off the back of carb. It will run just fine.. I cant see how that hose could be that restrictive?

Ive been tinkering with it, about to start stripping it down and check piece by piece.

I will upload a video going over what its doing and show it in action, its got pressure blowing back into the intake.

Do you happen to have any info on how to properly clean them, if there is an issue. Is their a way to replace them? I haven't delt with reeds like this before.

You might want to check for a clogged exhaust too.

Uploaded some images of reed valve.. appears okay and clean. Let me know if I'm missing something. I'm going to clean carb myself, and continue updating with my sadness lol.
