If you can't or dont want to go the Speed Code 4 route I would recommend a high-speed motor magnet.
I have used them on 2 carts including the CC Precedent I have now and it works. I went from about 15mph (speed code 3) to 19mph. The magnet costs around $25 and is simple to swap out the factory one in the speed sensor. Takes about 10 mins. It basically tricks the controller into thinking its going slower than it is. My $.02 Edit... Sorry I just saw that someone said the magnets done work on carts after 2012. Not sure why though Sorry... |
