Post 1984 marathon value

Hi. I have a 1984 marathon and I am wanting to sell it. It did run but it’s not now. It has a few new parts, decent tires, overall ok shape and I just want to sell it but can’t find any info online about the price of the cart- only parts. So if someone knows a FAIR price to charge please respond!! Thank you

cart prices are really different depending on the area you live in. and would certainly help if you provided some pictures of the cart, pic if the "under the seat" area, pic of the underneith side looks like (frame).

I always say that an eighties 2 stroke Marathon in the very best condition is never worth more than a grand. Not running automatically drops it to less than $500. Condition drops it to even less than that. More, and more parts for these are being discontinued.

Agree with cart around.

Honestly, there's probably way more value in parting ot out than selling whole, unfortunately. Unless it's in pristine condition, no rust, etc.

With as difficult as it is to find even simple parts for these (reeds, airbox, ignition parts, etc) youd be surprised how fast the parts sell for on eBay.

I just paid $150 for My 82. It ran but had other issues that another $150 took care of. That being said, anything that runs, drives and works as it should, starts at $1000 and goes up from there.

Anything electric, and anything 4 stroke is bringing crazy money right now if it is running.

This cart is a 2 stroke and it does not run.

I agree with the ones above who suggest it is worth a lot more for parts.

Also, people are not impressed with the fact that it "used to run."
