Re: 1995 club car hi speed only
There is no visual difference, you need a hand held programmer (if the controller has a programmer port) or depend on the configutation information that comes with the controller.
What was the resistance values with the FNR in reverse? That will give us more information on how it is wired. |

Re: 1995 club car hi speed only
Your reverse resistance values indicate the cart is wired for a 2-wire throttle so if You want to test the controller for 3-wire compatibility You need to disable the current half-speed reverse micro-switch.
Disconnect the 2 wires (Black and White) from the FNR micro-switch #3 (farthest away from the body of the FNR) and tape the wires as they will not be used. Follow the directions in this old thread on how to convert your VGlide for 3-wire operation. https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthre...2&postcount=35 Please let us know the outcome. |

Make sure the Controller M- goes to the FNR and B- goes to pack negative battery post.

Re: 1995 club car hi speed only
They are .. does this mean the controller box is bad ? Should I take it back ? Does the big solenoid have anything to do with speed ?

Re: 1995 club car hi speed only
Since the cart only runs when You press the pedal, the Solenoid must be closing and completing the high current circuit to the motor.
Disconnect the quick connector from Controller terminal #1, if the cart does not run the issue is with the Controller. |
