Default Anybody know what this might be?

This looks like an indicator lamp of some sort, but it isn't CC OEM as far as I can tell (nothing in the manual). I have turned everything off and on and it never illuminates. The car was a lease and the dealer didn't know what it was for.

At some point I'll pull the panel off and see if it is connected to anything, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Clearly it's the same size and shape of the battery warning light, so it has to be something that goes into a cart.

If you shine a flashlight on it up close, does it illuminate?

In what way?

I think it is either connected somehow to the onboard charger or the prior owner (it was a lease vehicle) put something on it that used that indicator and whatever it was is no longer there.

Either the square is a cover, and not translucent, or it's an indicator light lens. If you hold a flashlight to it, and it's a lens, it will illuminate. If it's just a cover/placeholder, then who knows what was there.

Gotcha. At first I thought that was a smart-aleck question, but shining a flashlight on it does not illuminate it--it is opaque. It may be an indicator that illuminates with a symbol or a word and it isn't a cover. I'll know more when I pull that panel off and see what it looks like from behind.

Pull the panel off and see what's behind... My idea is it is a "blank space" for you to add another switch. Could be wrong & have been before. That is my best guess...

Drum roll....and the winner is...YOU!

Pulled the panel, popped the thingy out and discovered that it is just a plug--**** fancy plug if you ask me. The hole looks factory, but the parts manual and service manual show nothing. I am wondering if it was a late model change because the build week is 15 September 19 and that is pretty late in the model year given that it is a '19.

Now I want to put something useful in that hole!
