That harness only shows 2 wires going to the switch.. if it is illuminated it should have 3. But the answer is still yes. Switch activates the relay. Pins 85 and 86 are the relays coil pins. If you pull the relay and put your volt meter leads in those holes on the harness plug it should get whatever voltage you wired it to with the switch on.

kgsc, if you look close at that diagram there actually is a third wire to the switch. A very faint grey looking wire between the blk and red.

There are 3 wires ...red white black.

When you switch the switch on are you getting power out to the lights on their red/black ?

Have it wired to the first 2 8v batts in the series. Getting 16v at the harness

Does this mean the relay is probably toast?
I would think so. I think Autozone has them. Does the relay click when you switch on/off ?
