1989 Gas EZGO
My golf cart really squeals when it is getting started. I put a new belt on it and it seemed to help a little but did not get rid of the screech. I had the seated up and watched the belt when I stepped on the gas it didn't seem to be slipping. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Re: 1989 Gas EZGO
Which belt?
The starter belt or the drive belt? |

The drive belt. The starter belt is pretty tight.

Re: 1989 Gas EZGO
I tend to think the starter belt is what's making the noise but it's hard to be sure since I'm not there.
They're easy to change and don't cost to much. You might try that. |

Re: 1989 Gas EZGO
Are there any other possibilities besides belts?
Thanks |
