Trojan T-875 Date Code?
Everything I read says that the 1st letter is the month and the number is the year, but the date stamped on the battery has 2 letters then numbers. Which due you use?
Battery date code: EC137BBP3187, what would be the date of this battery? Thanks |

Many new Trojans are not stamped in the lead anymore. Printed near the edge of the top of battery & often hard to see, or covered by battery hold downs.

I have found the date code. It is printed in the middle on top. I just can't decipher it.

The way to read the code ..it is weird to me but here it is... for example G2
The letter stands for the number of the month,,eg ..G..count A,B C ,D E ,F, G that is the 7th letter so that is the 7th month...JulY...next the number which is the last number of the year...eg...2...so that battery was put on the shelf July 2012... |
