WARNING you don't want to make a big spark anywhere near the battery.


note : use 2 wrenches on motor studs to keep them from spinning

Finally back to this. I am starting to suspect the speed switch, I am going to test motor as above today, I feel it is good but want to make sure. Any suggestion on testing the speed switch?

Motor is good, I notice when you push go pedal in forward there is a hum from speed switch (v-glide) and tires don't move. Note the cart runs fine in reverse and of course you push the same go pedal so the v-glide must be at least party good, right?

yes v glide wold be good
the reverse also by passes the coils ... they would be where i would look next

It is going forward! Thanks to all, special thanks to Crash! What was wrong: needed solenoid and one battery was bad, just because it tests good idle it needs to be tested under a load (this would have saved me a lot of time)! I also replaced the f/r switch however I suspect old one is good.
