battery help
I need some advise, I want to add an extra battery to my cart to run a 12v accessory plug to charge my cell phone an run a small dvd screen for my thermal scanner. This will be the only items I will be using, I have a installed a Blue Seas 6 circuit board for these two these circuits. My question is what battery should I use, I was thinking a agm 12v 35ah...it will be used for approximately 7 to 8 hrs a night and recharged the next morning......what are your thoughts.....thanks for any advise

Re: battery help
What kind of cart do you have? Why would you need a second battery to run these items? Couldn't you just run them off your voltage reducer for your lights?

Re: battery help
AGM certainly makes the most sense for a hunting cart.
To figure out the AH, you'll need to calculate how much draw it takes to fully charge your accessories. I'm guessing those are measured in mah. 35ah would likely be plenty. |

Re: battery help
Thanks Swan....I'll take a look at mine and see what I can do. I have been looking at the AGM batteries for like wheel chairs and putting it in the bag well and using a trickle charger just as you have to charge it. I'm just looking for a simple way to charge my phone at night and run my thermal scanner and two 4" round LED lights when I'm moving and not pull energy from my main batteries. Thanks for your response I appreciate it.
