Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it also true that sepex cars run hotter at lower speeds? I'm pretty sure series systems are better for slow cruising.

Murphy's Law has been working overtime on his 36v. resistor to 48v. solid state conversion.

Keep in mind that HP ratings on a DC motor are what it's rated to run at not what it produces. It may produce way more briefly under heavy acceleration - and way less at cruise.

Spoke with Rick at plumquick and he said max recommend tire size for bandit is 22" and suggested trying a lower max amp setting to see if that would help. Other than that either smaller tire size or torque motor.
