Default Scottyb conversion help

Hey guys,
I just completed a complete tear out and reinstalled the conversion kit on my 95 club car. Pretty much everything from the key to the motor is new. I feel like I have everything wired up correctly but it been a long day. I'm getting no movement from the motor but if you If you turn the key on and when you switch into forward or reverse the selenoid will engage on its own and then nothing happens when you depress the pedal. It's as if I have constant power going to the selenoid instead of the micro switch???
Any ideas??

It's wired wrong. Solenoid should not click until you press the gas..... Maybe as simple as you have wires on the wrong micro switch terminals on the potentiometer micro switch. Check instructions page 2 about pot ms connections to 2 outside posts and center empty.

I got it. that was how my 3 year old told me it was supposed to go. She also said it shouldn't go backwards when you put it in forward? Or forward in reverse... Any idea what I have crossed up ?

Swap the 2 cables that pivot on the back of the F+R switch. If the colors are correct for their location on the F+R switch, you can swap them at the motor.

Tag50 is referring to swapping cables #5 and #8 on the diagram. These are the 2 on the small swivel terminals in the center of the F&R switch.
