Precedent charging with PD? PD1? or PD3?
My question, is there any problem with using an original Powerdrive charger, to charge precedents? I mean versus using a pd2 or pd3 to charge a precedent?
Precedents weren't around when the PD came out. I have all 3 versions of the pd chargers, but was wondering if i can do any damage using the original pd, on some of my precedents , especially ones with new batteries? I'm not trying to compare pd chargers with DPI chargers, I get the DPI is the top dog, i am more wondering for customers. Thanks. |

Re: Precedent charging with PD? PD1? or PD3?
It won't hurt a thing. Club Car used #17935 chargers as on-board chargers on all of their Precedents throughout the entire year range that the PD2 and PD3 would have come with the cart as an external charger. The 17935 is an on-board version of the #17930 (Original PowerDrive Charger) and It works fine.
