'99 DS, new batteries, new F&R switch..still
just bumps in either directions but that's it. Put the meter to switch when the pedal is engaged and voltage drops out completely and takes a few seconds to reach back up to 48-50V. Any suggestions on which direction to go?

Is the voltage also dropping if you measure it directly on the pack battery posts?
If not, make sure any small gauge wires on the Solenoid big posts are on the solenoid battery side post. If the pack voltage also drops, check each battery. |

No voltage drop across the battery pack and I'm not 100% sure what you mean about the small gauge wires being on the battery post. So you think this is a solenoid issue?

You should have a big cable in each solenoid big post.
The big post that has the pack positive cable should also have the smaller gauge wire that powers the key switch. |

yes it does...The cart actually barely bumps like it wants to move but that's all the movement I get out of it. Does this sound like a solenoid issue? controller?

What you described would be consistent with the voltage reading taken on Controller B+ if the solenoid did not close.
The voltage reading at the key which is what's off. Key switch voltage should be the same as pack voltage. Check the wire between the solenoid and the key switch. |

Sergio; thank you buddy I took the old solenoid off and tested it and got nothing so I replaced it and the cart fired right off!
