I was able to install the Ausco disc brakes on my cart that has a 6 inch lift without the extensions. The cables do hang low but my cart does not go off the beaten path.

Cables don't hang low on mine, and the disc brakes are awesome. My cart goes 33 and the drums didn't stop it very well, no problems now. Install takes a couple of hours.
