yes it was a 5 gal pickle bucket, i would say about 2" from rim
here we go !!
i dumped the battery up side down over the bucket .. shook it when i heard it stop dripping .. maybe spilled 1/2 cup



i would say 2.5 qts max

Crash: Six of those would definitely fit in a 5-Gal bucket.

Sportcoupe: You might be right about a typo on the Exide brochure.

I'm using the biggest 6V golf cart batteries Exide makes, but it'll be years (hopefully) before I can do a "Dump in the bucket" test on them.
