ez go charging problems
I have an 09' ez go golf cart with a Powerwise charger model 28115-g4. The charging starts fine but shuts down with the battery pack at 44.5 volt and the charge rate at 10 amps. Is the problem the pack or the charger? I would think the charger would continue as the amps drop to 2-3 amps before shutting off. Need help.

Re: ez go charging problems
44.5V is within the normal shut-off range for a PW 28115 charger, but ~10A is a bit high.
Check the electrolyte levels in the cells. Clean the cable connections. Might be just the cold weather. What is the pack voltage after they have rested for about 12 hours? |
