Fuse for Power Wise Charger
Im having a problem with my power wise charge smoking when I plug it in
so I took the cover off and noticed my board was burnt up so I ordered a new one, but my question is that where the picture shows a fuse mine does not have one, is this a big problem and should I add one |

Re: Fuse for Power Wise Charger
It will work without a fuse, but the smoke may turn into flames.

Re: Fuse for Power Wise Charger

Re: Fuse for Power Wise Charger
Also check your diodes! If the fuse was blown, the diodes may be bad. Someone before you probably replaced the fuse and it will blow again if the diodes have a short. Disconnect the wires from them to test. Continuity in one direction and no continuity in the other. Most meters have a diode check function on them also.
